A “young timer” with a reputation for reliability that needs a little attention but is full of charm for recreational use with four people in the sunshine! Introduced in 1989, the Peugeot 205 Roland Garros was born out of a partnership between Peugeot and the famous Parisian tennis tournament. Following the success of the special edition, the convertible version—designed and produced by Pininfarina—made its debut in 1990. For the 1991 model year, the Roland Garros Cabriolet was equipped with the 1.4-liter TU3S engine producing 85 ch, paired with a five-speed manual transmission. It stood out with its distinctive green paint, leather and fabric upholstery, enhanced features, and numerous details evoking the world of the tournament. In 1991, 4,000 units of the Roland Garros series were produced, including 1,500 convertibles. This version is thus one of the most exclusive variants of the 205 and is today a particularly iconic model in Peugeot’s 1990s lineup.
