ITALY, Venice—18th century. Rectangular “arte povera” box decorated with fruit baskets and garlands of flowers. The domed top serves as a needle holder. The lock and handle are made of finely chased gilded metal. Height: 10 cm Width: 17 cm Depth: 11 cm Shows normal signs of wear and restoration.
