IRAN - 19th century Persian ceramic bottle. Siliceous paste with black painted decoration under a green glaze. This Safavid-style bottle features tchi cloud decorations on the neck, as well as floral decoration in raised gadroons. These black underglaze decorations are of Far Eastern influence.
