SAUXEMESNIL - 19TH CENTURY Anthropomorphic pitcher known as the “Marquis” Red clay with a honey-colored glaze. Shaped like a nobleman dressed in 18th-century fashion. Rounded arms, holding a bottle and a glass; four-button jacket with epaulets. Decorated with a cross-shaped order. Adorned with flowers on the pockets and a bunch of grapes below the belly. Height: 28 cm Minor chipping. Provenance: Private collection in Normandy, Cotentin
