Joseph REVEL at the Palais Royal, clockmaker received master in 1775. Portico clock in chased and gilt bronze and white marble, richly decorated with twisted columns, pine cones, garlands of leaves and flowers, and rooster heads. White and black enameled dial with signed Arabic numerals for hours and minutes and sundial. It stands on four toupie feet. Directoire period, late 18th century. Height Height : 50 cm Slightly missing.
