CAUCASUS - Late 19th century Old and original Chirvan bidjov Wool velvet on wool foundation Midnight-blue field with geometric decoration of rows of polychrome floral bulbs adorned with four medallions surrounded by crabs, tarantulas and multicolored stylized hooks. Triple borders, the main one ivory with serrated leaves. Dimensions: 260 x 135 cm. Fairly good condition. Maintenance restorations, slight natural oxidation (proof of age).
