Laurent BECOT RUIZ (born 1984) Mineral intuitions. Watercolor drawing. Sale to benefit the Alzheimer UNIVERSAL Club for research into the disease. Height. 29 cm (when viewed). Width: 35 cm (when viewed). Note: Laurent BECOT RUIZ lives and works in Paris. A photographer for over ten years, he is in demand for his portraits and reportages. The digital medium invites him to create illustrations made from hijacked photos. Since 2018, Laurent has detached himself from the speed and immediacy of photographic movement to offer us his opening to meditation through his contemplation of colors and their nuances. Contemplative, Laurent is fascinated by the infinitely large and the infinitely small, and the beginnings of the universe. His inspiration comes from nature, which he loves to have close to his studio on the outskirts of Fontainebleau.
