System knitting table in cuba mahogany and speckled mahogany veneer, gilt brass ornamentation, with two gallery tops, the upper one with flap. Louis XVI style from the 19th century. Height Height : 77.5 cm Width : 64 cm Depth : 34 cm Note: This table is based on the model designed by Jean-Henri RIESENER for Marie-Antoinette, now in the Musée Nissim de Camondo (S. Legrand-Rossi, 2012, p. 134-135). A comparable piece, Louis XVI period and stamped Adam Weisweiler, from the Wrightsman collection, was sold at Sotheby's New York on April 28, 2010 (lot 135).
