Introduced in 1969, the Peugeot 504 Cabriolet is the result of a particularly successful collaboration between the Sochaux-based automaker and the Italian coachbuilder Pininfarina. Derived from the 504 sedan, it retains the sedan’s design qualities while adopting an elegant, low-slung, and refined silhouette characteristic of Pininfarina’s creations. Starting in 1974, the 504 Cabriolet underwent a major upgrade with the introduction of the 2.7-liter PRV V6 engine, jointly developed by Peugeot, Renault, and Volvo. This engine, combined with a more assertive design, gave the convertible the performance and driving pleasure that made it one of the most appealing French cars in its class at the time. With only a few thousand units produced in its V6 version, the 504 Cabriolet is now among the most sought-after models in Peugeot’s classic car lineup. A maintenance log will be provided to the buyer; the vehicle is in excellent condition.
