Savonnerie-style rug (France), early 20th century Dimensions: 580 x 300 cm. Technical specifications: Wool pile on a cotton backing. A salmon-colored latticework, adorned with stylized flowers in the same shade, is set against a raspberry-colored field. The main border, highlighted by two linear counter-borders in ivory and salmon, is embellished with ivy scrolls and ivory acanthus rosettes on a raspberry background.
