JARDON & Isidore GRENOT (Clockmakers in Paris), Clock featuring a young woodcutter, finely chiseled and gilded in bronze with a brown patina. The enameled dial with Roman numerals, signed “Jardon & Grenot,” is set within a frame depicting logs. Gilded bronze base centered with a cartouche of putti around a fire and resting on six spindle-shaped feet. Empire period.
