A mahogany and mahogany-veneered hot-water bottle table rest - Lot 555
A mahogany and mahogany-veneered hot-water bottle table resting on four tapered, fluted legs that end in casters and are connected by a crossbar. It features two drawers and two shelves around the base, originally lined with leather. The top is made of gray Sainte Anne marble with an openwork brass frame. Louis XVI period. Height: 72 cm Diameter: 65 cm The veneer is lifting, and the crossbar is warped; the leather on the shelves is missing.
