A large, flat mahogany desk with mahogany veneer, featuring four drawers (one faux drawer), three of which are box-style and one is a belt-style drawer; on the side, there are two pull-outs lined with gilded leather, each with small iron fittings that serve as writing shelves. It rests on four fluted legs that extend up the side panels and features five faux drawers on the back. Gilded bronze or brass ornamentation, including lock plates, feet, and moldings. Louis XVI period. Height: 76.5 cm Width: 152 cm Depth: 81 cm Signs of wear, a scratch on the back, and a few minor imperfections.
