A set of four stamped terracotta medallions comprising: - Suzanne JARENTE de la REYNIÈRE (1736–1815), dated 1769. - Benjamin FRANKLIN, with the Latin inscription “Eripuit coelo fulmen, sceptrumque tyrannis,” dated 1779. - Louis XV in profile, signed below the bust. - Dr. DORNIER; a similar piece is on view at the Metropolitan Museum under catalog number 49.20.4 Diameter: 13.5 cm Minimal wear.
