ITALY—first half of the 19th century. A large decorative element made of molded, carved, and gilded wood, depicting a coat of arms surmounted by a crown within a border of leafy, openwork scrollwork. The coat of arms features a tower flanked by two rampant lions. Height: 40 cm. A few minor chips.
