A large, flat-topped desk with a dynamic design, made of amaranth veneer and featuring a curling frieze decoration in the panels. It opens with three drawers along the base, has three faux drawers on the back, and rests on four curved legs. The top, entirely covered in red leather with a gold-stamped frieze of posts, is edged with a brass trim. Louis XV period. Beautiful gilded bronze ornamentation, including drawer pulls, acanthus leaves, uprights, and feet. Height: 79 cm Width: 177 cm Depth: 105 cm Normal signs of wear and restoration.
