A chest of drawers known as the “Mazarine,” with a curved front made of veneered wood and decorated with inlaid panels set within geometric frames of amaranth and olive wood. It features three drawers on the front and four baluster-style legs. Bronze ornamentation at the lock openings, handles, and crowfoot-shaped feet with foliage-motif grips. Louis XIV period. Height: 77 cm Width: 99 cm Depth: 66 cm Shows signs of normal wear and a few instances of veneer lifting.
