Attributed to Justus SUSTERMANS (1597–1681) Portrait of a Woman in a Gray Embroidered Dress Holding a Fan Canvas The model’s pose and the richly embroidered dress are reminiscent of several portraits by Sustermans, including that of Margaret of Austria (Poggio a Caiano). Height: 204 cm Length: 115 cm Historical restorations Very large carved and gilded wooden frame with a highly ornate decoration of foliage scrolls; the frame has been resized. Italy, 17th century.
