Igbo Agbogho mmuo masks embody idealized female spirits, associated with beauty, restraint and social harmony. The clear faces, geometric scarification and mirror inlays contribute to a codified aesthetic, reinforcing the supernatural character of the figure. These masks are worn at ritual and festive dances, where movement complements the sculptural balance of the form.
