Probably ZANDE, Democratic Republic of Congo, 20th century. Dance mask, Zande Dance mask featuring an elongated face with surrealistic volume. The bottom of the nose is adorned with a pendant ending in three blue glass beads. The mouth is open; the ears are marked in slight relief. The top of the face is punctuated by two arched protrusions. Wood, old brown and honey patina, blue glass beads, wear mark. Dimensions: 23 × 15 cm
