DOGON, Mali - Lot 113
DOGON, Mali Hut or granary door composed of three vertically assembled wooden panels. The whole is decorated with engraved geometric motifs combining rhombuses, triangles, rectangles and series of interlocking squares, organized from the smallest to the largest. The regular repetition of these motifs creates a structured, rhythmic and graphic surface. Wood, old patina, marks of time, wrought-iron elements.
