Chinese silk Ghoum carpet - circa 1990 Late Sino silk Ghoum Silk velvet on silk foundation Tobacco field decorated with scrolls and garlands of stylized flowers and foliage framing a central midnight-blue medallion with a stylized diamond-shaped floral crown on a beige background. Four spandrels with finely drawn palmettes. Triple borders, the main one in midnight blue, decorated with rows of floral bulbs. Size: 157 x 92 cm. Good condition.
