G. PHILIPPE - 66-67, Palais Royal, Paris Large ormolu clock with rich Louis XV-style decoration of acanthus, scrolls, pearled friezes and garlands. The enameled dial with Arabic numerals for the minutes and Roman numerals for the hours features a movement signed "G. PHILIPPE" is framed by two lion gules with drooping rings. The whole is topped by a gadrooned vase. It stands on four wide quadrangular feet. Napoleon III period Height 49 cm Width : 32.5 cm Depth : 19.5 cm Traces of oxidation, parts to be re-expanded.
