ENGLAND - Late 18th century, Exceptional straight double bookcase in mahogany and mahogany veneer, opening at the top through two large glass doors with geometric latticework. The lower part features eleven drawers in six rows, the four upper simulated drawers revealing a writing tablet and ten storage units of various sizes. George III period (1760-1820) Beautiful bronze ornamentation of stylized acanthus leaves on the handles and lock escutcheons. Height Height : 240 cm Width : 160 cm Depth : 54 cm Few cracks in the veneers, marks of time.
