PARISIAN WORK
Dressing table in mahogany and speckled mahogany veneer. The top opens to three flaps, the central one revealing an adjustable mirror, and to two flaps revealing shelves. The belt opens to two drawers. It stands on sheathed feet with recessed edges. Rounded angle brackets at the corners of the waistband and legs make the transition. The jambs are decorated with fluting.
Bronze ornamentation: lock escutcheons, knobs and sabots.
Louis XVI period.
