HOLLAND - early 18th century - Lot 442
HOLLAND - early 18th century Cage clock in stained wood with brass dial, finely chased and engraved with foliage and flower scrolls, and applied flowers and foliage in light relief. The circular dial features Roman numerals for the hours and Arabic numerals for the minutes, and a central sub-dial. Double striking movement, alarm function and striking on demand. The cage rests on four small "toupies" feet and is topped by a doucine top. Height Height : 35.5 cm Width : 22 cm Depth : 14 cm Restorations and upper parts.
