Commonly attributed to René PROU (1889-1947), Pair of armchairs with gilded-lacquered tubular metal frame, solid armrests decorated with openwork interlacing, upholstered cuffs in enveloping shapes. They stand on four slightly curved pies. Seat and back upholstered in black ski. Circa 1930-1935. Height Height : 78 cm Width : 54 cm Depth : 49 cm Worn trim and gilding.
