Sylviane CANINI (born 1954) - Lot 58
Sylviane CANINI (born 1954) The third man Original aquatint on 3 Himalaya chine papers Framed and justified 30/75 106 x 30 cm Note: Born French to a Romanian father, at 19 she decided to study at the Beaux Arts in Bucharest. Immediately attracted by engraving, she took up etching and aquatint. She tamed steel and liberated her line. Back in France, she perfected her technique and found her own style. A style that draws on the very source of art, a meeting between contemporary reality and the memory of time. Jean-Louis Pinte
