Romantic clock in chased, gilded and patinated bronze called "à la jardinière". The quadripod base, richly decorated in the Rocaille style with interlacing foliage and shells, is adorned with white marble plaques and centered on a patinated bronze reserve depicting a young man in the garden in slight relief. It is topped by a subject depicting a young girl under a palm tree, surrounded by her gardening tools and leaning on a riprap containing the movement. The marble and gilt-bronze base is decorated with foliate scrolls, shells and medallions. White and blue enameled dial with Roman numerals signed Bonnotto frères. Napoleon III period Height 53 cm.
