A handsome chest of drawers in rosewood veneer with a geometric frieze. It opens onto a curved front with four drawers in three rows highlighted by gilded brass fluting. Rounded uprights with ormolu fluting and fine ornamentation in chased and gilded bronze, including key escutcheons, drop handles with twirling eyelets and lamp bases. Languedoc red marble top molded in a "bec de corbin" pattern. Late Louis XIV - early Regency period, circa 1715-1720. Height Height : 80 cm Width : 130 cm Depth : 66 cm
