History
In 1956, Mathieu Matégot designed the furnishings for the Clinique du Docteur Claoué, including lacquered and perforated metal furniture. The ARTESIA auction house had the opportunity to disperse a remarkable ensemble from Dr. Claoué's personal apartment (sale October 19, 2024). The chair presented here, from the same estate, comes from the clinic.
