NORTHERN ITALY Pair of high-back molded and carved walnut chairs. The backs feature panels decorated with foliage scrolls and centered on a coat of arms supported by two griffins for one, and a reserve decorated with fruit vases for the other. The front legs are decorated with post friezes. Nineteenth-century work with 17th-century elements. Height: 100 cm Width: 47 cm Depth: 41 cm Traces of xylophagous insects on the old elements.
