LIMOGES, 19th century Rare small carriage lantern in black and white enameled copper engraved with the monogram of Henri IV and Diane de Poitiers (DHD). Rich gilded interlacing decoration. The openwork oval sides hold a curved green glass. Height Height : 18 cm. Minor accidents and missing parts. Comparison piece: An identical lantern attributed to the workshops of the LAUDIN family sold at Selkirk's April 2021 St. Louis auction of the collection of Lucy and Stanley LOPATA.
