Gilt bronze clock featuring a library surmounted by the attributes of geography and geometry: globe, books, square, ruler. The rectangular base, decorated with a frieze of heart-shaped stripes, rests on four feet adorned with a semi-circle of flowers. Chased ormolu dial encircled by a frieze of roses and flowers and signed "BONJOUR à TOURS". Wire movement. Empire period. Height 37.5 cm high Width : 15.3 cm. Depth: 10 cm.
