OTTOMAN SYRIA - 17th century, Damascus tile in siliceous ceramic with lead glaze, painted with cobalt, manganese and sage green foliage and flowers. Height Height : 26 cm Length: 27 cm. Chips and chips but very good condition. The Musée du Louvre holds an identically decorated tile under inventory number OA7454/8.
