1850'S Exceptional chatelaine in silver (hallmark: Sanglier) and enamel painted on copper. The openwork radiating clasp is adorned with an enamel medallion depicting a mythological scene. It supports three pendants, one featuring a Saint Jacques Matamore, the other the dove of the Holy Spirit set with three red stones, and the central one adorned with a relic of the true cross in an openwork filigree frame. Chain case adorned with small enamel medallions depicting baskets of fruit. Gross weight: 89.4 gr. Length: 27 cm. Minor wear to the enamel on one of the medallions.
