Claude WEISBUCH (9127-2014) Passacaglia for Solo Violin Lithograph on Arches paper Original and justified 144/250 65 x 50 cm Very good condition Note: Claude Weisbuch, born in 1927 in Thionville, became a student at the Ecole des Beaux Arts de Nancy, then was appointed professor of engraving at the Ecole des Beaux Arts de Saint-Étienne. He initially took part in group exhibitions, before becoming a full member of the Peintres-Graveurs Français in 1968. An exceptional painter, engraver and lithographer, Claude Weisbuch never ceases to capture the dynamics of life like a snapshot, essentially around people and their pictorial, musical and literary expression.
