TANAGRA - GREAT GREECE (late 3rd century - early 2nd century BC) Statuette representing an elegant woman standing draped in a himation. The garment follows the form of this woman, remarkable for the grace of her posture. Terracotta with remains of ochre and white polychromy. H. 26 x W. 8 x D. 6 cm (Broken and stuck on the chest and right thigh, old chip on the left arm, good general condition). Provenance: former Chartres collection, Galerie de Chartres sale, Maître Jean-Pierre LELIEVRE.
