ORIGINAL KARABAGH, CAUCASUS, ARMENIA, early 20th century. Wool velvet on wool foundation. Brick field decorated with polychrome geometrically stylized flower bulb plant seedlings. Triple borders, the main one saffron yellow with interlacing twisted crenellated stems. Beautiful polychromy. H. 235 x L. 130 cm (Slight natural oxidation, small hole). Expert : Franck Kassapian.
