Large glazed ceramic dish decorated with a mermaid in shades of yellow, blue and brown.
On the reverse, an inscription: "Standing, the daughter of King Grallon has become Morgane the Siren with long golden hair and the plaintive song of which the legends of the sea speak".
Signed JC Taburet and dated 1959, HB Quimper.
